Priory Park was gifted to the people of Chichester for recreation as a perpetual memorial to the fallen of the First World War. The gift was made on 30th September 1918 by the 7th Duke of Richmond and Gordon.
The Park is in the ownership and management of Chichester District Council, whose website gives practical information about the Park.
